Ultimate Ears Launched UE Fits That Mold Itself to Fit Your User’s Ear | Lightform Tech

UE Fits

Ultimate Ears (UE), the audio equipment brand from Logitech, is launching a new line of wireless earbuds that shape themselves to fit the user’s ears. Yes, you read it right, UE Fits is trying to address what is arguably the biggest issue with wireless earbuds – the Fit, some more high-end offerings like Apple’s AirPods Pro and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live Puri The look of someone failing to deliver is different. While some may be happy with the fit provided by some of the current options, some have consistently complained that they can’t find something to fit their ear. With UE Fits, the audio equipment brand seeks to bridge this gap.

UE fits use built-in LEDs that match the contours of the user’s ears as well as straighten their gel-infected ends. With the UE Fits app, users can get speaker molds according to the shape of their ears. Yui states that this will not only provide the best possible fit, but it will also produce better passive noise cancellation by blocking almost all ambiguous sounds. An Android Authority report quotes the company as saying that the headphones cannot be reinstalled after the initial fitting. However, the company offers initial 30-day testing and guarantees if initial compatibility is not complete. If things change, the company will continue to sell tips separately.

The UE Fit uses specially designed 10mm drivers to provide a “full, warm and low” sound with textured bass. Earbuds provide eight hours of battery backup on a single charge and more than 20 hours, including a charging case. Earbuds also come with controls to play/pause music and answer calls.

UE fixtures were made available for pre-order in the US for $ 249 (18,260 direct transfers) and are currently available at a discounted price of $ 199 (Rs 14,600 direct transfer). The $ 249 price is the same as the Apple AirPods Pro. Although there seems to be a lot to pay for a pair of earbuds that do not have active noise cancellation, it may still be worth the effort if the modulation technique of UE fits basically works.
