TikTok has been downloaded more than two billion times through Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Application intelligence company Sensor Tower said that the number of downloads increased amid the COVID-19 epidemic.

Reportedly, India has been the biggest driver for TikTok installs. Out of two billion downloads – 611 million downloads were in India alone. This is 30.3 percent of the total people using the app.
China ranks second with 196.6 million, or 9.7 percent of total downloads. This is followed by the United States, with a total of 165 million or 8.2 percent of Totok users.
The report says China’s figures do not include installs from third-party Android stores, and the numbers are for Tiktok’s version in the country – Doyin, said.
Google Play has accounted for the major share of TikTok downloads to date, accounting for more than 1.5 billion or 75.5 percent of the total installed.
On the other hand, the App Store has seen 495.2 million or 24.5 percent of total downloads, the report noted.
TikTok has also seen a significant increase in user spending. According to Sensor Tower, lifetime user spending has increased to $ 456.7 million, more than 2.5 times the $ 175 million it was five months ago.
China is generating $ 331 million, or 72.3 percent of total revenue, in terms of spending usage in TikTok.
America ranks second with 19 percent or $ 86.5 million. Great Britain ranks with $ 9 million in both countries.
