Honor officially announced the MagicBook Pro 2020 at the brand’s Smart Life product launch event in China today. This laptop was already on Jingdong (JD.com) last week to reveal some of its specifications.
Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 specifications
The new Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 has a 16.1-inch IPS LCD screen similar to the 2019 model. However, the frames are now reduced to 4.9mm to deliver 90% of the screen to the body. The palette also features a 100% sRGB color gamut.
Surprisingly, the brand didn’t mention the screen resolution, which means it may still be 1920 x 1080 pixels as a model last year. However, it is TÜV Rheinland certified for non-emission and low emission of blue light.
Additionally, the new Honor laptop comes in two processor configurations: 10th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 respectively, combined with 16GB and 512GB RAM SSD. The laptop also features a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU.
Honor MagicBook Pro 2020
Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 comes with a pop-up webcam placed on a row of function keys like Huawei’s advanced laptops. It also features software modifications like multi-screen collaboration to mirror and control compatible smartphones on the laptop. Users can also share files with each other as easily as Apple AirDrop.
Honor has also included a new performance mode on this laptop, which can be activated using the shortcut function key (Fn) + P. The laptop’s CPU performance and display performance are increased by 8% and 15% respectively in this mode.
